Top Ten Tuesday - Favorite Book Quotes

Happy Tuesday, dear readers! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt from That Artsy Reader Girl is favorite book quotes, so here are ten favorite quotes from ten of my all-time favorite books. I hope you enjoy them.

🩷 “‘Just a little homesick’, Alice answered. It was the truth, she thought. She just wasn’t sure she had yet been to the place she was homesick for.” ― Jojo Moyes, The Giver of Stars

💛 “Books are the mile markers of my life. Some people have family photos or home movies to record their past. I’ve got books. Characters. For as long as I can remember, books have been my safe place.” ― Kristin Hannah, The Great Alone

💚 “I remember you.” ― V.E. Schwab, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

💜 “If I have learned anything in this long life of mine, it is this: in love we find out who we want to be; in war we find out who we are.” ― Kristin Hannah, The Nightingale

🧡 “We need to be allowed to convince ourselves that we're more than the mistakes we made yesterday. That we are all of our next choices, too.” ― Fredrik Backman, Anxious People

💙 “Pay attention to the things that connect you with joy.” ― Katherine Center, What You Wish For

🤎 “Just because you don’t believe in the Lord doesn’t mean His power isn’t working for you.” ― Francine Rivers, Redeeming Love

🩷 “Faces change with life's toll, but eyes remain a window to what was.” ― Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing

💛 “‘You’re overthinking it.’ ‘I have anxiety. I have no other type of thinking available.’” ― Matt Haig, The Midnight Library

💚 “I want a pain that has a beginning and an end, not one that goes on forever and cuts all the way to the bone.” ― Lisa Wingate, Before We Were Yours

  11. “Books are the mile markers of my life. Some people have family photos or home movies to record their past. I’ve got books. Characters. For as long as I can remember, books have been my safe place.” I love this quote. I had forgotten it. I loved and hated The Great Alone in equal measure, so it is good to be reminded of what I loved.
