Top Ten Tuesday - Books I Did Not Finish (DNF'ed)
March 25, 2025
Hello, dear readers! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt from Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl is all about the books I didn't finish (or DNF'ed). I won't go into any specific details of why I stopped reading these books, but I will say that most of the time I DNF a book is because it's either boring or I don't like the narrator. Are there any books listed here that you love and believe I should give a second chance? Let me know! Happy Tuesday!

Tom Lake was a DNF for me as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why I couldn't get into this book. Maybe I should try the ebook version instead of the audiobook. Meryl Streep is a wonderful actress, but she isn't the best narrator. Thank you for visiting, Lydia!
DeleteI'm planning on reading The Sirens in May. Here is my post https://paigesofnovels.wordpress.com/2025/03/25/top-ten-tuesday-books-ive-dnfed/
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it! Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteI have attempted one Fourtune and one Penner book. Both were DNFs for me.

Which book by Carley Fortune did you try? I loved Every Summer After, but I haven't been able to get into her other books. Not sure why. Thank you for visiting.
DeleteI haven't read any of these books, but they do look a bit boring.

Thank you for visiting, Ronyell! Have a great day!
DeleteI DNFed The Keeper of Hidden Books, too. I just didn't seem to connect with the characters or the story. But maybe it was the mood I was in.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. I couldn't connect with them either. Thank you for visiting, Lark!
